Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM)

From September 2014 all children in Years R, 1 and 2 will be entitled to a free school meal under the "Universal Infant Free School Meal" (UIFSM) initiative.

For children entitled to the free meal there is obviously no charge, however, parents of children in Key Stage 2 may take advantage of the service provided by A Star Catering Ltd at a cost of £2.60 per meal per day.

The Universal Infant Free School Meal initiative does not affect those children entitled to free school meals due to household income and whether or not you receive any benefits.  If your child is entitled to free school meals for these reasons it is important you the school are informed as additional funding will be received which can help cover the costs of educational visits and clubs that your child may attend.  Further details and how to apply are contained in the tab "Key Information - Free School Meals"

Choice menus are available within the green Parents' tab under "Hot Lunch Menu"

“By working together in an exciting, creative and supportive Christian environment we will challenge and inspire every child to become highly literate, numerate, sociable and healthy, with a thirst for continued learning and a belief in their ability to become significant citizens”
