Fairgrounds

During our topic on Fairgrounds, the children learnt about how forces are used within fairground rides, specifically gravity, centrifugal force, friction and upthrust. They also found out about how light and sound influence our experiences at the fairground. In addition to this, the children investigated the use of electricity within rides and fairground games. The children made some steady hand games in Design and Technology. We were fortunate enough to visit Bridgwater fair during our topic.
