Isle of Wight 2015

Here are some of the highlights in the children's own words:

The Isle of Wight was really fun especially when Tom Pike dressed up as a Dame at the Theater. My favorite thing was probably Alum Bay. I enjoyed seeing all the sweets being made and the glass being produced, although it was really hot and stuffy!

It was especially funny when Mrs. Green came down the water slide at Black Gang Chine.  I came down the water slide with Maddie O we both got drenched. It was amazing!

I enjoyed it the best when we went to BlackGang Chine because I liked going to all the attractions within the Theme Park, such as the Pirate Town, Cowboy Town, and the Snakes and Ladders. This was a lot of steps and awesome slides! The mansion was cool as it was quite dark in there, with lots of goblins and mystic things. Mr Mac Rae was really funny wearing his angry birds pyjama bottoms and Hawaiian shirt!

I really enjoyed going to the Isle of Wight, especially Alum Bay. At Alum Bay we got to go to the Sand Shop; here we could fill up an ornament of our choice with different coloured sand in it. I chose a Guitar!  There were many gift shops there where we could buy what we wanted to.  The whole place was called a Shopping Emporium.

I really enjoyed staying at St Rhadagunds as well as the whole Isle of Wight, and I enjoyed staying with Corey, Elliot and Tristan.

I was amazed by Amazon world Zoo Park.  My favourite animal there was the Red Panda. The rest of the places we visited were also great! I loved going to all the attractions! The Isle of Wight was epic!

My favourite part of the Isle of Wight was the party night. I loved the party night because we got to let are selves go and just have FUN! The best dress of the night was Mr MacRae in his Angry Birds pyjama bottoms and his Hawain top……what an outfit!!! But the best dance of the night was, the ‘CHA CHA CHA!!!’ I liked that because we all did the same thing and it almost looked like we were all in sequence! The only word to describe the disco is……..EPIC!!!

The IOW was amazing and we went to really cool places. Also the weather was hot and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of us got a bit of a tan!

My favourite place was Alum Bay, there was even a sweet factory and a place where they make glass! We were all allowed to go off in groups to look around the gift shops and buy presents. The teachers couldn’t loose us because we had to wear bright yellow hats!!

All the staff and children had a great time, and we received daily compliments about how the children behaved and worked together. The children were a credit to their families and their school, and we hope they came home excited to tell all they had seen and learnt about -after a good nights sleep! Well done year 5 and 6!

Isle of Wight presentation ~ see what to expect and how the children got on last time!
