We have been learning how to keep our teeth healthy and clean. We used disclosing tablets to check where we had not brushed off all of the plaque.

We carried out an investigation into which materials were waterproof.

We have been learning about tartan designs. We learned how to do running and back stitch and sewed our own tartan patterns. 

We used a computer program to produce our own tartan designs. 

We had a visit from Ken the bee man and his queen bee Bella! They talked to us about looking after bees and answered lots of our questions. At the end we had the opportunity to taste honey straight from the hive.

This term we have been learning about what plants need in order to grow and to be healthy. We planted a range of seeds. Broad and runner beans, cress, mung beans and flowers. 

This term we have been learning all about Honey Bees and why they are important to us. We created our own Honey Bee report video. Below is a short extract from our report.

Our new topic is Flowers and Insects. We painted some of our own Van Gogh sunflower pictures using cotton buds and crayons.
