SCHOOL 2 FARM was a one day event on 24th May 2007 offering a fascinating and informative opportunity for our year five children to experience a working dairy farm up close. About 700 children in total from 23 primary schools visited Rodway Farm at Bridgwater College’s Cannington Centre. We were treated to a tour of the dairy and sheep farm, tasted lots of dairy products, watched a sheep being sheared and did some pond dipping. There were also displays by the Farming and Countryside Education and the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group. It was a excellent morning!
