ORGANISATION

The School is divided into 5 classes, with an average of 28 children in each. Every child will spend two years in two of these classes. Decisions about which children will move is decided during the summer term and is based on personal, social and academic progress. A smooth transition from class to class for each child is very important.

  • Class 1– Reception and Year 1
  • Class 2-Years 1 and 2
  • Class 3-Years 2 and 3
  • Class 4-Years 4 and 5
  • Class 5-Years 5 and 6

School begins at 9am and finishes at 3.30pm with a midday break between 12.00 and 1.30 for Key Stage 1 children and between 12.15 and 1.30 for Key Stage 2. All children eat a packed lunch. When the weather is good this takes the form of a picnic on the field.
