CLASS 5 - ARSENAL SOCCER SCHOOL

On the fifth of November the whole school got treated to a FANTASTIC session with Darren, Stuart and Trevor who are a part of Arsenal Soccer Schools.

We did the Ajax passing drill with Trevor which is what the Dutch team practice on a regular basis. After that we did some shooting practice with Stuart. You had to run into a square with a ball and do a Tomaz Rosiky turn, or Gaile Clichy turn or the Cesc Fabregas turn, and then shoot into a small goal. These people play for Arsenal F.C. Last of all we did passing and tackling with Darren.

For the final activity we were split into two teams and were given a number one to seven. Darren called out a number and if you were that number you had to run , get the ball before your opponent and pass the ball through a small hoop.

The whole school had a very enjoyable day, even reception children!
