THE ROMAN BATHS

On Wednesday 23rd April, as part of our World War 2 topic, class three travelled to the Fleet Air Arm for an Evacuation Day Special.

The children dressed as evacuees, many bringing to school old fashioned suitcases and a favourite bear.

The children were issued with identity cards, made gas mask boxes and practiced taking cover during an air raid. They also explored a range of costumes and artefacts in order to gain an insight into everyday life during the 1940s.

There was also an opportunity to explore the rest of the museum with the Carrier Experience and Concorde being the highlights.

We all had a brilliant day!!!!
