The Academy Trust is a company limited by guarantee and an exempt charity. The Charitable Company's memorandum and articles of association are the primary governing documents of the academy trust. The Governors act as the trustees for the charitable activities of Enmore church of England Primary School and are also the Directors of the Charitable company for the purposes of Company law.
It is a requirement of our Funding Agreement with the Education Funding Agency (EFA) that in the interests of transparency we must publish up to date details of our governance arragements.
The Governing Body is supported by its six sub-committees, membership of which is derived from within its own Body. The constitution, membership, terms of reference and delegated powers of the sub-committees are reviewed and approved annually and recorded in the school's "Standing Orders".
For each member and trustee who has served at any point over the past 12 months, their full names, date of appointment, date they stepped down (where applicable), and relevant business and pecuniary interests including governance roles in other educational institutions are listed below.
